25-3701. In-state residence change; vote in former residence, when. For the purposes of this act, a "former precinct resident" shall mean a person who is otherwise a qualified elector of the state of Kansas, who has removed from the precinct of his former residence in this state and established residence in another precinct in this state during the thirty
(30)days next preceding any election held in the precinct of his former residence. Such person may vote in such election in such precinct of his former residence to the same extent and in the same manner as if he had retained his residence in such precinct, except as otherwise provided in this act.
