25-3106. Preliminary abstracts, preparation by county election officer. When returns of any election are received by the county election officer, he shall make a preliminary inspection of the abstracts and other records returned. The county election officer shall prepare a combined tabulation of the vote totals for each candidate and question submitted showing therein the votes at each voting place. Such tabulation shall be known as the preliminary final abstract of election returns, in the case of all elections for which the county board of canvassers make the final canvass.
Such tabulation shall be called the preliminary intermediate abstract of election returns, in the case of all elections for which the county board of canvassers make an intermediate canvass.
