2-2214. Jurisdiction over distribution, sale and transportation; emergency situations.
(a)Jurisdiction in all matters pertaining to the distribution, sale and transportation of agricultural chemicals is by this act vested exclusively in the secretary, and an authorized representative of the secretary, except as otherwise specifically provided in this act.
(b)The secretary shall have the authority to apply for a permit for pesticide use in emergency situations as provided for under the provisions of section 18 of FIFRA and to apply for special local need registrations under the provisions of subsection
(c)of section 24 of FIFRA.
