19-4705. Presiding judge; compensation. Any action brought in accordance with the code shall be presided over by a district court judge designated by the chief judge of the district court presiding in the county or a judge pro tem who shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the chief judge of the district court presiding in the county, in accordance with the provisions of subsection
(e)of K.S.A. 20-310a , and amendments thereto. If a judge pro tem presides over such action, such judge pro tem shall receive a salary and other compensation set by resolution of the board of county commissioners and paid from the revenues of the county general fund or other fund established for the purpose of financing the costs of enforcement and prosecution of violations of county codes and resolutions pursuant to the code. If a district court judge presides over such action, such district court judge shall not be entitled to any additional compensation or expense payments.
