19-1904. Calendar of all prisoners; information required to be kept. The sheriff of each county shall keep a true and exact calendar of all prisoners committed to the county jail. Such calendar shall contain the names of all persons who are committed, their place of abode, the time of their commitment, the time of their discharge, the cause of their commitment, the authority that committed them, and the description of their persons. When any person is released from the county jail, such calendar shall state the authority for such release and the time when such release occurred.
If any person escapes from the county jail, such calendar shall state particularly the time and manner of such escape.
