17-1333. Annual meetings; powers of electors. A majority of the electors present at said annual cemetery district meeting shall have authority to select a name for said cemetery district association; elect directors as provided for in K.S.A. 17-1331 , who shall hold office as provided in K.S.A. 17-1333a ; vote upon any proposition to disorganize such district and annex the territory thereof to another cemetery district; fix the date for its next annual meeting; determine the amount of tax to be levied not to exceed the limits prescribed in K.S.A. 17-1330 , or K.S.A. 17-1365 for the caring for and maintaining said cemetery for the next year and cause the same to be certified to the county clerk of each county or counties in which said district is located; and at the first meeting of said cemetery association to select from the offer or offers on file to convey by cemetery associations or corporations in said district, the cemetery to become the official cemetery of said district association, which cemetery shall thereafter become the permanent property of said district association.
