12-1614. Same; election of officers; delivery of property to mayor. Upon the petition of twenty
(20)resident citizens of any dormant city, it shall be the duty of the township board to refer the same to the county election officer and city officers shall be elected at the next regular city election. Upon the qualification of the mayor elected, the township board shall deliver to such mayor all property held by said board in trust for said city by virtue of this act.
