12-1,120. Fingerprinting of chief of police.
(a)Each person holding office as chief of police of any city in this state shall be fingerprinted as provided by this section and K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 22-4713 , and amendments thereto.
(b)Before assuming the office of chief of police of any city in this state, a person shall be fingerprinted as provided by this section and K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 22-4713 , and amendments thereto.
(c)Fingerprinting pursuant to this section shall be done by the law enforcement agency of the city in the presence of the city clerk.
