Sec. 10. Applicability. This Act applies only to the following:
(1)A transfer of residential real estate by means of a transfer on death instrument
made before, on, or after January 1, 2012, by an owner dying on or after January 1, 2012.
(2)A transfer of real property by means of a transfer on death instrument made before,
on, or after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly by an owner dying on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly.
