Sec. 3-2-2.3. Voting rights information.
(a)The Department shall make available to a person in its custody current resource materials, maintained by the Illinois State Board of Elections, containing detailed information regarding the voting rights of a person with a criminal conviction in the following formats:
(1)in print;
(2)on the Department's website; and
(3)in a visible location on the premises of each Department facility where notices are
customarily posted.
(b)The current resource materials described under subsection
(a)shall be provided upon release of a person on parole, mandatory supervised release, final discharge, or pardon from the Department.
