Sec. 105. Special alerts. A law enforcement agency having jurisdiction may provide to the public a special alert list warning parents to be aware that violent offenders against youth may attempt to contact children during holidays involving children, such as Halloween, Christmas, and Easter and informing parents that information containing the names and addresses of registered violent offenders against youth are accessible on the Internet by means of a hyperlink labeled "Violent Offender Against Youth Information" on the Illinois State Police's World Wide Web home page and are available for public inspection at the agency's headquarters.
