Sec. 124B-305. Distribution of property and sale proceeds. All moneys and the sale proceeds of all other property forfeited and seized under this Part 300 shall be distributed as follows:
(1)45% shall be divided equally between all State agencies and units of local
government whose officers or employees conducted the investigation or initiated the hearing that resulted in the forfeiture.
(2)50% shall be deposited into the Specialized Services for Survivors of Human
Trafficking Fund and disbursed in accordance with subsections (d), (e), and
(f)of Section 5-9-1.21 of the Unified Code of Corrections.
(3)5% shall be paid to the Office of the State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor to
train State's Attorneys on forfeiture proceedings and topics related to human trafficking.
