Sec. 33. The Office shall pay from funds appropriated to it for this purpose 100% of the salary for all pretrial officer and pretrial supervisor positions employed by local pretrial services agencies to implement the services set forth in this Act and that have been approved for reimbursement by the Office.
(1)Each local pretrial services agency shall submit an annual plan and budget to the
Office setting forth all pretrial officer and pretrial supervisor positions and current funding sources for each position.
(2)Costs shall be reimbursed monthly, based on an annual plan and budget approved by
the Office. No local pretrial services agency may be reimbursed for costs which exceed or are not provided for in the approved annual plan and budget.
(3)The salary, or portions thereof, of a pretrial officer or pretrial supervisor shall
not be reimbursed by both the Division and the Office when the pretrial officer or pretrial supervisor performs duties under both this Act and Section 12 of the Probation and Probation Officers Act.
(A)The Division and the Office shall annually identify all positions that perform
duties under both this Act and the Probation and Probation Officers Act.
(B)For each position identified under subparagraph
(A)that is eligible for
reimbursement, the Division and the Office shall determine whether the position will be reimbursed by the Division pursuant to the Probation and Probation Officers Act, by the Office under this Act, or by another source.
