Sec. 2.1. Grants; loans; contracts. The Commission may apply for and accept grants, loans, or appropriations from the State of Illinois, the federal government, any State or federal agency or instrumentality, or any other person or entity to be used for any of the purposes of the District and enter into any agreement with the State of Illinois, the federal government, any State or federal instrumentality, or any person or entity in relation to the grants, matching grants, loans, or appropriations.
The Commission also may, by contractual agreement, accept and collect assessments or fees for District enhancement and improvements, common area shared services, shared facilities, or other activities or expenditures in furtherance of the purposes of this Act.
