Sec. 140. District enlarged. As of July 9, 1951, the corporate limits of the Sanitary District of Chicago are hereby extended so as to embrace and include within the same the territory and tracts of land situated in the County of Cook and State of Illinois, hereinafter described as follows:
That portion of Section Ten (10), Township Thirty-eight
(38)North, Range Twelve
(12)East of the Third Principal Meridian lying north of lines described as follows: Beginning at a point in the west line of said Section Ten
(10)Five Hundred, Seventy-four and Seven Tenths (574.7) feet south of the northwest corner thereof, thence southeasterly along a line deflected Twenty-one degrees, Twenty-nine minutes and Forty-five seconds (21° 29' 45") from south to east from said west section line, a distance of One Thousand, Seven Hundred, Thirty-eight and Thirty-two Hundredths (1,738.32) feet, more or less, to a point in the center line of Plainfield Road (vacated), thence northeasterly a distance of Seven Hundred and Thirty Hundredths (700.30) feet to a point in a line parallel with and One Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifty-three (1,353) feet west of the north and south center line of said Section Ten (10), said point being Six Hundred, Seventy-four and Nine Tenths (674.9) feet north of the east and west center line of said Section Ten
(10)measured along said parallel line, thence along a line deflected Seventy-three degrees, Twenty-one minutes and Thirty seconds (73° 21' 30") from north to east from the last described parallel line for a distance of Eighty-seven and Seven Tenths (87.7) feet to a point Seven Hundred
(700)feet north of the east and west center line of said Section Ten
(10)thence east along a line parallel to and Seven Hundred
(700)feet north of the east and west center line of said Section Ten
(10)to the said north and south center line of said Section Ten (10), thence north along said north and south center line of said Section Ten
(10)to its intersection with the southwest line of the right of way of the Chicago and Calumet Terminal Ry. Co., (now known as Baltimore and Ohio Chicago Terminal R. R. Co.), thence southeasterly along said southwest line of the right of way of said railroad to its intersection with the east line of said Section Ten (10), situated in the Village of McCook, County of Cook and State of Illinois.
