Sec. 9-2-30. Upon the return of the jury's verdict, the court shall order the verdict to be recorded and shall enter such judgment thereon as the nature of the case may require. The court shall continue or adjourn the cause from time to time as to all occupants and owners named in the petition who have not been served with process, or brought in by notice or by publication, and shall order a new summons to issue and publication to be made. When those occupants or owners are brought into court, the court shall impanel a jury to ascertain the compensation to be paid to those defendants for property taken or damaged, and the amount of benefits to be assessed against them, if any.
Like proceedings shall be had for that purpose as hereinbefore provided in the case of other owners. But no final judgment shall be entered as to any of the property embraced in the assessment roll until all the issues in the case have been disposed of, including revised rolls, if any.
