Sec. 11-65-1. In this Division 65, unless the context otherwise requires;
(1)"Municipal convention hall" means a municipally-owned building or auditorium with
all necessary adjuncts thereto, including but not limited to hotels, restaurants, and gift shops, that is used, licensed, or leased for definite short periods of time for assemblages of people. "Municipal convention hall" also means a building or auditorium with all necessary adjuncts thereto that will become municipally-owned at a date certain.
(2)"Municipal convention hall purposes" means the municipal corporate purposes defined
and designated in this Division 65.
The objects and purposes defined and set forth in this Division 65 are municipal corporate objects and purposes.
