Sec. 11-35-1. Any municipality with a population of 500,000 or more, by ordinance may provide for a board of plumbing examiners
(1)to conduct examinations for journeyman plumbers and master plumbers,
(2)to register plumbers' apprentices, and
(3)to issue and revoke plumber's licenses within such a municipality.
