Sec. 10-2.1-31. Emergency medical technician licensure. The corporate authorities of any municipality may require that all firefighters hired by the municipality on or after January 1, 2009 (the effective date of Public Act 95-935) be licensed as an EMT, EMT-I, A-EMT, or paramedic under the Emergency Medical Services
(EMS)Systems Act.
