Sec. 1-1-6. Town under special charter superseding civil township; powers. The corporate authorities of any town incorporated under a special charter that has superseded a civil township shall have the powers enumerated in the following: Sections 1-2-1, 1-4-1 through 1-4-4, 1-4-6, 1-4-7, 1-5-1, 1-6-1, 1-7-1, 1-7-2, 1-7-3, 1-8-1, 3.1-30-5, 7-4-2, 8-1-1 through 8-1-4, 8-1-6, 8-1-8 through 8-1-14, 8-2-9, 8-3-8, 8-3-9, 8-4-1 through 8-4-34, 8-7-1 through 8-7-4, 8-7-5, 8-9-1, 8-9-2, 8-11-1 through 8-11-3, 8-11-4, 10-4-1 through 10-4-3; all of Article 9; and Divisions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 22, 23, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 40, 42, 43, 44, 49, 53, 54, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 68, 71, 72, 73, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 93, 97, 101, 104, 105, 108, 109, 110, 117, 118, 119, 121, 122, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147 and 148 of Article 11.
These powers shall be cumulative in effect, and if any provision is inconsistent with any power expressly granted under the special charter of the municipality, it shall be considered as an alternative or additional power and not as a limitation upon any other power granted or possessed by the corporate authorities of the town incorporated under a special charter that has superseded a civil township.
