No director or officer of the Authority shall be interested, directly or indirectly, in any contract, agreement, lease, work or business of the Authority, or in the sale of any article whenever the expense, price or consideration of the contract, agreement, lease, work, business or sale is paid by the Authority. No director or officer of the Authority shall be interested, directly or indirectly, in the purchase, sale or lease of any property which
(1)belongs to the Authority,
(2)is sold, leased or any interest therein is acquired by the Authority, or
(3)is sold by virtue of legal process at the suit of the Authority.
