Sec. 80-75. Donation of surplus property to a historical society or other specified not-for-profit corporation. Any property declared to be surplus by the electors under Section 30-53 may by resolution of the town board of trustees be donated to a historical society or other not-for-profit corporation. The resolution shall set forth the historical society or other not-for-profit corporation's intended use of the property, and the board of trustees may require that the transfer be subject to a reversion of the property if the property is no longer used for its original intended use by the historical society or other not-for-profit corporation.
The resolution shall authorize the township supervisor to execute all documents necessary to complete the transfer of the property.
