Sec. 275-10. Purposes of museum or historical society. Any museum or historical society for which township funds are distributed under this Article shall be maintained and operated, in addition to any other purposes, for the following purposes:
(1)To foster and promote a sense of understanding and pride in the accomplishments and
achievements of the people of the township.
(2)To promote a greater knowledge of the history of the township and its relationship
to the history of the State of Illinois and the United States.
(3)To provide access to historical relics and items by the people of the township and
in particular the youth of the township.
