Sec. 3-14010. Department of Data Processing. The Board of Commissioners has authority to create and maintain a Department of Data Processing to which may be assigned such powers as the County Board may deem necessary for the proper functioning of County government. This department has authority to service all County departments, offices and agencies established under the Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners may enter into agreements with constitutional officers of county government for such services by the Department of Data Processing within the respective offices of such elected county officers.
The department shall be headed by a Director, who shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Board of Commissioners.
