Sec. 15-5. Boas, pythons, and anacondas. Unless contrary to any other law or rule, nothing shall prohibit lawfully acquired possession of any of the Boidae family, such as boas, pythons, and anacondas, provided captive maintenance requirements from the Department as set forth in this Act are met. All boas, pythons, and anacondas referenced in this Act are exempt from the permit process, associated annual fee, and liability insurance coverage.
