Sec. 25-100. Reports.
(a)Within 30 days of the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 100th General Assembly, for the period beginning November 4, 2017 until the date of the report, the Legislative Ethics Commission shall issue a report to the General Assembly containing the following information:
(i)the total number of summary reports that the Inspector General requested be published;
(ii)the total number of summary reports that the Inspector General closed without a request to be published;
(iii)the total number of summary reports that the Commission agreed to publish;
(iv)the total number of summary reports that the Commission did not agree to publish;
(v)the total number of investigations that the Inspector General requested to open; and
(vi)the total number of investigations that the Commission did not allow the Inspector General to open.
(b)The Legislative Ethics Commission shall issue a quarterly report to the General Assembly within 30 days after the end of each quarter containing the following information for the preceding quarter:
(i)the total number of summary reports that the Inspector General requested be published;
(ii)the total number of summary reports that the Inspector General closed without a request to be published;
(iii)the total number of summary reports that the Commission agreed to publish;
(iv)the total number of summary reports that the Commission did not agree to publish;
(v)the total number of investigations that the Inspector General requested to open; and
(vi)the total number of investigations that the Commission did not allow the Inspector General to open.
(c)The reports to the General Assembly under this Section shall be provided to the Clerk of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of the Senate in electronic form only, in the manner that the Clerk and the Secretary shall direct.
