Enforcement may be had on any judgment so entered as in other civil cases, but the officer executing the same shall not levy upon the property of the sureties until he shall fail to find sufficient property of the principal to satisfy such judgment; however, the judgment shall be a lien upon the property of the sureties as in other civil cases.
