Sec. 2. The State mining board established by Section 5-155 of the Departments of State Government Law (20 ILCS 5/5-155) is designated the advisory body referred to in Article V
(a)of the Interstate Mining Compact. No member of the Board shall receive any compensation on account of duties established by this Act, but any such member shall be entitled to reimbursement for expenses actually incurred by him in connection with his service as the Governor's alternate on the Interstate Mining Commission.
