Sec. 1. For purposes of this Act, unless the context requires otherwise:
(a)"Facility" means:
(1)Any long-term care facility as defined in Section 1-113 of the Nursing Home Care Act
or any facility as defined in Section 1-113 of the ID/DD Community Care Act, Section 1-113 of the MC/DD Act, or the Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Act of 2013, as amended;
(2)Any community residential alternative as defined in paragraph
(4)of Section 3 of
the Community Residential Alternatives Licensing Act, as amended; and
(3)Any child care facility as defined in Section 2.05 of the Child Care Act of 1969, as
amended.
(b)"Approved smoke detector" or "detector" means a smoke detector of the ionization or photoelectric type which complies with all the requirements of the rules and regulations of the Illinois State Fire Marshal.
