Sec. 8a. Deposit of proceeds. Until July 1, 2022 and beginning again on July 1, 2023, all money received by the Department under Section 2a of this Act, except money received from taxes on aviation fuel sold or used on or after December 1, 2019 and through December 31, 2020, shall be deposited in the Underground Storage Tank Fund. All money received by the Department under Section 2a of this Act for aviation fuel sold or used on or after December 1, 2019, shall be deposited into the State Aviation Program Fund.
This exception for aviation fuel only applies for so long as the revenue use requirements of 49 U.S.C. 47107(b) and 49 U.S.C. 47133 are binding on the State. For purposes of this Section, "aviation fuel" means jet fuel and aviation gasoline. Beginning on July 1, 2022 and through June 30, 2023, all money received by the Department under Section 2a shall be deposited in the Transportation Renewal Fund.
