Sec. 2-52. Revision of assessor qualifications by Department. The Department may revise the assessor qualifications for township and multi-township assessment districts from those qualifications specified in subsections
(c)or
(d)of Section 2-45 to those qualifications specified in subsection
(b)of Section 2-45 if the township or multi-township board of trustees petition the Department to do so. In determining petitions from a township or multi-township board of trustees requesting a change in assessor qualifications, the Department shall consider the quantity and complexity of assessments in the township or multi-township. The Department shall promulgate reasonable rules relating to the administration of this Section.
