Sec. 6z-9.
(a)The Build Illinois Fund is created in the State Treasury. All tax revenues and other moneys from whatever source which by law are required to be deposited in the Build Illinois Fund shall be paid into the Build Illinois Fund upon their collection, payment or other receipt as provided by law, including the pledge set forth in Section 12 of the Build Illinois Bond Act. All tax revenues and other moneys paid into the Build Illinois Fund shall be promptly invested by the State Treasurer in accordance with law, and all interest or other earnings accruing or received thereon shall be credited to and paid into the Build Illinois Fund. No tax revenues or other moneys, interest or earnings paid into the Build Illinois Fund shall be transferred or allocated by the Comptroller or Treasurer to any other fund, nor shall the Governor authorize any such transfer or allocation, nor shall any tax revenues or other moneys, interest or earnings paid into the Build Illinois Fund be used, temporarily or otherwise, for interfund borrowing, or be otherwise used or appropriated, except as expressly authorized and provided in Section 8.25 of this Act for the sole purposes and subject to the priorities, limitations and conditions prescribed therein.
(b)The tax revenues and other moneys shall be paid into the Build Illinois Fund pursuant to Section 6z-17 of this Act, Section 28 of the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975, Section 9 of the Use Tax Act, Section 9 of the Service Use Tax Act, Section 9 of the Service Occupation Tax Act, Section 3 of the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act, Section 4.05 of the Chicago World's Fair - 1992 Authority Act, and Sections 3 and 6 of the Hotel Operators' Occupation Tax Act.
