Sec. 6z-31. Aggregate Operations Regulatory Fund; uses. All fees and penalties collected under the Surface-Mined Land Conservation and Reclamation Act and deposited into the Aggregate Operations Regulatory Fund, a special fund hereby created in the State treasury, shall be annually appropriated to the Department of Mines and Minerals for the implementation and enforcement of laws regulating aggregate mining operations and rules adopted by the Department under those laws. The Department may allocate some of these moneys for training required by regulation under Section 6.5 of the Surface-Mined Land Conservation and Reclamation Act.
All earnings on moneys in the Fund shall be deposited into the Fund.
