Sec. 15. Filing and Distribution of Balanced Budget Notes. Balanced Budget Notes shall be filed with the Clerk of the House for supplemental appropriation bills that are under consideration by the House of Representatives and with the Secretary of the Senate for supplemental appropriations bills that are under consideration by the Senate. The respective office shall apply a time stamp to each Balanced Budget Note it receives indicating the date and time that the Balanced Budget Note was filed.
A copy of the Balanced Budget Note, clearly showing the date and time that the Note was filed, shall be immediately provided by the Clerk of the House or the Secretary of the Senate, as the case may be, to the Presiding Officer and the Minority Leader of the respective chamber, the Chair and Minority Spokesman of the appropriation committee to which the supplemental appropriation bill is currently assigned or to which the supplemental appropriation bill was originally assigned, the sponsor of the supplemental appropriation bill in that chamber, and, if different than the sponsor of the supplemental appropriation bill, the sponsor of the amendment.
