Sec. 6.5. Each person or entity that undertakes activities as a professional fundraising consultant, and that is not subject to the requirement to register or report as a professional fund raiser, shall register with the Attorney General, and reconfirm the registration every 2 years or upon such longer period as the Attorney General shall prescribe. Application for registration or re-registration shall be in writing, under oath in the form prescribed by the Attorney General, and the Attorney General shall mail registration forms to the address of any registered professional fundraising consultant.
Such form shall contain an affidavit to the effect that the professional fundraising consultant has not or will not at any time have custody or control of charitable contributions. Failure to register pursuant to this Section shall subject the party to a fine in an amount not to exceed $100.
