Sec. 55. Rules; public hearing. Subject to the requirement for public hearings as provided in this Section, the Office shall publish and adopt, and may, from time to time, amend such rules as may be necessary for the proper enforcement of this Act, to protect the health and safety of the public. The Office shall hold a public hearing prior to the adoption or amendment of rules required under this Act. The Office may, when necessary, utilize the services of any other State agency to assist in carrying out the purposes of this Act.
