Sec. 25. Powers and duties of Department. The Department shall exercise powers and duties under this Act as follows:
(1)Review applications to ascertain the qualifications of applicants for licensure.
(2)Adopt rules consistent with the provisions of this Act for its administration and
enforcement and may prescribe forms that shall be used in connection with this Act. The rules may define standards and criteria for professional conduct and discipline. The Department shall consult with the Board in adopting rules.
(3)The Department may at any time seek the advice and the expert knowledge of the Board
on any matter relating to the administration of this Act.
