Sec. 170. Home rule powers. The regulation of surgical assistants and surgical technologists is an exclusive power and function of the State. A home rule unit shall not regulate surgical assistants or surgical technologists. This Section is a limitation under subsection
(h)of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution.
