Sec. 21-1401. Home rule.
(a)The provisions of this Article are a limitation of home rule powers under subsection
(i)of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution.
(b)Nothing in this Article shall be construed to limit or deny a home rule unit's power to tax as set forth in Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution.
