Sec. 25. Power of Director.
(a)The Director shall have power to examine and investigate the affairs of any licensee to determine whether the licensee has been or is engaged in any conduct in violation of this Act. This power is in addition to the powers which the Director has under the Illinois Insurance Code, including Sections 132, 132.3, 132.4, 133, 401, 402, 403, and 425 of the Illinois Insurance Code. Any investigation or examination shall be conducted pursuant to the Illinois Insurance Code, including Sections 132, 132.3, 132.4, 133, 401, 402, 403, and 425 of the Illinois Insurance Code.
(b)Whenever the Director has reason to believe that a licensee has been or is engaged in conduct in this State which violates this Act, the Director may take action that is necessary or appropriate to enforce the provisions of this Act.
