Sec. 1-45. Report on transfer of the powers and duties of the Historic Preservation Agency to the Department. The Department of Natural Resources shall, on or before December 31, 2018 and annually thereafter for 3 calendar years, provide a report to the General Assembly that includes an analysis of the effect the transfer of the powers and duties from the Historic Preservation Agency to the Department under this amendatory Act of the 100th General Assembly had on State government and State taxpayers.
The report shall also include recommendations for further legislation relating to the implementation of the reorganization. A copy of each report shall be filed with the General Assembly as provided under Section 3.1 of the General Assembly Organization Act.
