Sec. 18. Criminal Penalties. Any person who intentionally and knowingly
(A)requests, obtains, or seeks to obtain conviction information under false pretenses, or
(B)disseminates inaccurate or incomplete conviction information in violation of this Act, or
(C)fails to disseminate or make public conviction information as required under this Act, or
(D)fails to correct or update a conviction record after it is determined by audit, by individual review and challenge procedures, or by other verifiable means to be inaccurate or incomplete for the purpose of causing harm to the individual named in the request or to whom the information pertains, or
(E)violates any other provision of this Act, shall for each offense be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
