Sec. 7.5. Notification of outstanding warrant. If the existence of an outstanding arrest warrant is identified by the Illinois State Police in connection with the criminal history background checks conducted pursuant to subsection
(b)of Section 2-201.5 of the Nursing Home Care Act, Section 2-201.5 of the ID/DD Community Care Act, Section 2-201.5 of the MC/DD Act, or subsection
(d)of Section 6.09 of the Hospital Licensing Act, the Illinois State Police shall notify the jurisdiction issuing the warrant of the following:
(1)Existence of the warrant.
(2)The name, address, and telephone number of the licensed long term care facility in
which the wanted person resides.
Local issuing jurisdictions shall be aware that nursing facilities have residents who may be fragile or vulnerable or who may have a mental illness. When serving a warrant, law enforcement shall make every attempt to mitigate the adverse impact on other facility residents.
