Sec. 10. Test-optional admission policy.
(a)Each institution of higher education shall adopt a test-optional policy as part of its undergraduate admissions process. Under this policy, an institution may not require applicants who are residents of the State of Illinois to submit standardized test scores to the institution as a part of the admissions process, and the submission of standardized test scores to the institution shall be at the option of the applicant.
(b)Subject to subsection (a), nothing in this Act shall be construed to limit the admissions requirements, standards, or policies of an institution of higher education.
