Sec. 27-515. Time requirement for civics studies. Not less than one hour of each school week, or an amount of time equal to one hour per school week through the school year, shall be devoted to the study of the subjects mentioned in Section 27-510 of this Code in the seventh and eighth grades or their equivalent.
This Section does not prevent the study of such subjects in any of the lower grades in such schools or institutions.
