§94-7 Access to restricted records in the state archives. Historical records which are transferred to the state archives shall be retained for posterity and title shall vest in the state archives. All restrictions on access to government records which have been deposited in the state archives, whether confidential, classified, or private, shall be lifted and removed eighty years after the creation of the record.
