§501-172 License to sell or mortgage, not affected. Nothing in this chapter shall in any way affect or impair the jurisdiction of a circuit court to license a guardian to sell, mortgage, or convey registered land for any purpose for which a license may be granted in the case of unregistered land. The purchaser or mortgagee taking a deed executed in pursuance of a license is entitled to a new certificate of title, or memorandum of registration, on presenting the purchaser's or mortgagee's deed to the assistant registrar.
