[§342G-25] Contents of county integrated solid waste management plans.

[§342G-25] Contents of county integrated solid waste management plans.
(a)Each county plan and subsequent revision shall include:
(1)A program element; and
(2)A facility capacity and siting element.
A county may include additional elements at its discretion.
(b)The program element shall include at a minimum:
(1)A waste stream assessment component;
(2)A source reduction component;
(3)A recycling and bioconversion component;
(4)An energy-balance component;
(5)A special waste component;
(6)A household hazardous waste component;
(7)A public education and information component;
(8)A landfill and incineration component;
(9)A marketing and procurement of materials component;
(10)A program implementation component; and
(11)A program funding component.
(c)The facility capacity and siting element shall include at a minimum:
(1)An existing capacity and future needs component;
(2)A facility implementation component; and
(3)An enterprise zone component. [L 1991, c 324, pt of §2]
