132.24 Elections, notice, etc.

Any election which may be held to determine whether any such refunding bonds shall be issued, if required by the Constitution of the state, shall be called, noticed and conducted, and the result thereof determined and declared as shall have been or may be required by law for the issuance of any bonds of the unit proposing to issue the bonds herein authorized; but if an election be not required by the Constitution and nevertheless be held, it may be called, noticed and conducted, and the result thereof determined and declared, in such manner as the governing body may provide by resolution.
It shall not be necessary to hold any election for the issuance of any refunding bond, except in those cases in which an election is required by the Constitution of the state.
