The laws governing the holding of general elections are applicable to bond referenda, except as provided in ss. 100.201 - 100.351 . A county, district, or municipality is not required to offer early voting for a bond referendum that is not held in conjunction with a county or state election. The places for voting in a bond referendum shall be the same as the places for voting in general elections when a bond referendum is held in the county or district; however, when a bond referendum is held in a municipality, the polling places shall be the same as in other municipal elections.
